Update 09.13.09 - I've fixed the issue with a floating hair for female version of cornrowbeads, I still have no clue why this happened, but I think i've fixed that Smiley Please re-download.

I've successfully converted other 2 hairs from The Sims 2,  these however have recolourable parts and You can find them in hats section Wink

General issues:


As far as I know there are no issues with these hairs, only the recolourable part (on both hairs) is little too bright, and sometimes It may look a bit odd, but I will try to fix it and I will update the download links. Fixed    Cheesy

Thanks, they are great. I never was a fan of the headband on the dreads in Sims 2, that's why I got the ones FourTSeven created without the headband. The braids look nice so I will get those.

Is there any chance of these being converted for female use as well?

EDIT: Wow, the headbands really ARE bright. Almost like mirrors.  Let us know when you get that fixed, definitely! I'd love something a little less jarring.

Awesome I've been wanting these hairs I saw a preview pic of the banded one somewhere else might have even been someone else's conversion but I've been hoping to find it.

i love the hairs,
but when i installed them,
like 95% of the other hairs in the accessories section disappeared.
they came back when i took it out of my downloads.

These are great and they look high quality too judging by your preview pics. Echoing many of the others here though I would love to see these for the ladies as well.

I've fixed textures on the bands, now they are definitely less jarring Wink


Gnerk and ericxcore try to redownload the files and use Helper Monkey to install the hairs, as these hairs are showing properly in my game.


I'm going to do versions of these hairs for females, children and toddlers. I don't know exactly when I will have time to do that, but within a week I should finish them   Tongue
